The Walt Disney Company recently launched an all-new learning initiative, Disney Imagicademy.
This learning initiative is designed for families with kids ages 3 to 8 years old. The program allows parents to introduce their kids to educational concepts in a fun and “uniquely Disney” way by combining Disney characters with research-driven curriculum.
The launch event was held at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York and was attended by the press, consumers, and partners of Disney. Brooke Burke-Charvet is the Imagicademy spokesperson.
The learning initiative features the first Imagicademy app called Mickey’s Magical Math World which includes math activities and experiences.
Disney also announced a $55 million donation in Imagicademy apps and books for kids in need. That announcement was made at the White House Summit on Early Education. The books and apps will be donated through First Book, a nonprofit that provides new books and educational tools to educators and programs serving low-income families.
The next product in the Disney Imagicademy portfolio is Mickey’s Magicl World of Arts.
