Disney will be launching a new NextGen application to be used by visitors to Walt Disney World Resort. The app will be called My Disney Experience and will be available for the iPhone, iPad, and Android systems.
The app is expected to replace the current Disney Parks mobile application Mobile Magic in early 2013. The current information contained in the Mobile Magic app, including maps and wait times, will continue to be included on My Disney Experience. In addition, this application is expected to include the Next Generation RFID FASTPASS features.
The application should be available beginning August 2012. Blackberry and Windows versions are expected to be released later in 2013, along with a Disneyland version.
