Disney star Brenda Song has landed a role on the FOX sitcom New Girl, starring Zooey Deschanel.
Song is best known for her role as London Tipton on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and The Suite Life on Deck, and will play a character named Daisy on her latest television foray. Described as an “intense and competitive young woman with an interest in Winston,” (played by Lamorne Morris,) Song’s character promises to be an interesting – and humorous – addition to the show.
According to media reports, Song’s character becomes interested in Winston when he fails to hit it off with another woman at the bar (Holly, played by guest star Brooklyn Decker.)
