Parents with kids participating in youth sports often find themselves traveling out of state for tournaments, including trips to the Walt Disney World Resort. And sometimes, the scheduling and organization of these trips can lead to not-so-magical-moments.
But there is help out there thanks to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and a new solution-oriented program that aims to make youth sports travel easier for families. It’s called Disney Sport Solutions and the program includes pre-event fundraising help with programs that utilize Disney and its partners including ESPN the Magazine.
When teams travel to the Walt Disney World Resort, they can also take advantage of on-site assistance at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Later this month a business lounge is opening for parents, allowing them to stay connected when traveling with the teams.
Teams can also request boxed lunches, pizza, snacks, and coolers be delivered to the sports complex, while coaches can utilize equipment drop-off and Disney Sports Solutions will deliver the team’s equipment to their field of play.
And because no trip to Disney is complete without photos, there is a team of photographers ready to capture hi-resolution photos of the players during games. Parents can also watch game highlights on a dedicated channel in their resort hotel room.
