Hot on the heels of Disney’s acquisition of Lucasfilm, rumors are swirling that the media giant is currently in talks to purchase Hasbro, the largest toy and game company in the world.
Rumors say these are only discussions at this point, but an official announcement of the acquisition isn’t unlikely, according to media reports.
If the rumors prove to be true, Disney would acquire the rights to Transformers, G.I. Joe, Dungeons and Dragons, Beyblade, Battleship, Nerf and Magic: The Gathering, among several dozen other game titles currently owned by Hasbro.
