Disney recently teamed with the World Maker Faire and the New York Hall of Science to support the World Maker Faire New York.
More than 75,000 kids and families had a chance to experience the festival that works to inspired the inventors of tomorrow.
Disney sponsored a tent at World Maker Faire New York and kids had a chance to see the star of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Big Hero 6, Baymax. Visitors could also use 3D printers to created mini versions of Baymay.
At the Disney tent visitors also had a chance to submit their ideas to the Big Hero 6 XPRIZZE Challenge.
Two of the companies choses in the Disney Accelerator program – Sphero and Snowshoe – were also at the Faire displaying digital-exploration demos. There was also a World Maker Faire New York KABOOM! Imagination Playground where kids could have fun.
This year marked the third year that Disney supported World Maker Faire New York.
