Guests of Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World will soon have the chance to see some of their favorite Disney Junior characters live, as “Disney Junior – Live on Stage!” debuts at both resorts next month.
The show, which celebrates the launch of Disney’s new block of programming, will take place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida, as well as at Disney’s California Adventure. The performance will feature new characters, as well as a new stage, and will include a segment based upon “Jake and the Neverland Pirates,” a new show that Disney debuted with the premiere of Disney Junior on Monday.
The show replaces “Playhouse Disney – Live on Stage!” just as Disney Junior has replaced Playhouse Disney on the Disney Channel. (Disney Junior will move to its own channel in 2012.)
