Disney Junior is celebrating Halloween throughout the month with special themed episodes of several hit shows including Sofia the First.
New episodes of the short-form series Minnie’s Bow Toons will also be premiering throughout October.
On the October 11 episode of Sofia the First Amber learns an important lesson about appreciating her sister rather than trying to outdo her when a costume-related spell goes wrong. Another special episode air on October 25 when Sofia has to spend the day with her Aunt Tilly (voiced by Bonnie Hunt) and learns there’s more to her aunt than meets the eye.
And on October 18, an all-new extended superhero-themed episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse premieres at 9 a.m. In the episode titled “Mickey’s Super Adventure” Professor Von Drake invents a machine that turns Mickey and the rest of the clubhouse friends into superheroes after a super-villain threatens to shrink the clubhouse. Mickey’s rival Mortimer Mouse makes a special appearance in the episode.
Also this month, families can visit DisneyJunior.com/Halloween to upload videos of their kids talking about what he or she wants to be for Halloween. Videos will be selected at random for airing on Disney Junior and will be shown every Friday on Disney Channel and Disney Junior.
