Everyone has a story to they want to tell through photos and videos, and Disney has a storytelling app to make those stories easier to share.
The iPhone and iPod Touch app – called Story – has recently been updated by Disney Interactive and now includes premium animated Disney themes, music functions, a better viewing experience, and more sharing features.
Story uses intuitive technology to access users’ photo and video libraries on their devices and automatically organizes them into digital experiences that can be personalized, saved, and shared. Users are able to focus on the customization and personalization of their stories, rather than cultivating and organizing the photos and videos.
One new update to the free app includes premium animated Disney themes (available for in-app purchase for $1.99). The Disney themes include Disneyland Resort, Cars, The Little Mermaid, and ESPN’s Sports Center. There is also a Mickey Paris theme that is free for app users.
Users can also add a soundtrack to their Story with pre-installed songs that include Disney music classics from Toy Story, Up, Finding Nemo, and more.
The app features a simple in-app tool that supports social networking sites including Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter – which makes sharing your Story easier than ever. The Facebook integration also gives users the ability to tag photos, allow comments, and invite others to download Story.
