Disney’s newest restaurant, Trattoria al Forno, is scheduled to open December 18 at Disney’s BoardWalk.
The new Italian eatery takes the place of Kouzzina by Cat Cora which closed on September 30, and will be open for breakfast and dinner.
The dinner menu includes an antipasti section featuring calamari, mussels, salads, and cured meats. The entrees include about six pasta dishes including a seasonal risotto, and about eight “carne” dishes including slow-cooked lamb shank, whole roasted fish with vegetables, eggplant rollatini, and chicken parmigiana.
The dessert menu includes tiramisu, lemon panna cotta, and a signature dessert of bomboloni served with dark chocolate and vanilla gelato.
The restaurant will also feature hand-crafted mozzarella, fresh cavatelli pasta, and wood-burning ovens.
There is no word yet on what items will be included on the breakfast menu.
Reservations can be made for Trattoria al Forno beginning October 21. The restaurant is open from 7:30-10 a.m. for breakfast and from 5-10 p.m. for dinner. The Disney Dining Plan will be accepted.
