The newest Disney XD animated series, Star Wars Rebels, debuts October 13 and to celebrate the launch Disney Consumer Products has a new line of products.
The Star Wars Rebels line of products includes action figures, spaceships, lightsabers, apparel, and accessories, and more for a new generation of Star Wars fans. The products will be sold by Hasbro, LEGO, Mad Engine, Rubies, and Jay Franco.
“Star Wars Rebels extends the franchise’s legendary storytelling while refreshing nostalgic play patterns with a new audience,” said Josh Silverman, executive vice president of global licensing, Disney Consumer Products. “With updated classics like multi-functional lightsabers and buildable spacecraft, kids will be able to recreate the epic galactic space fantasy that has been shared by multiple generations.”
Disney Publishing Worldwide is also showcasing a new book program and series of interactive mobile apps from Disney Lucasfilm Press. The new series and apps expand on the Star Wars Rebels series.
Star Wars Rebels products will be available at Disney Stores nationwide and Disney Store online will also feature a “Create Your Own” tab where fans can personalize tech items, school supplies, apparel, and party invitations that feature Star Wars Rebels characters.
The series is set between the events of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
