Disney Channel’s original television show Jessie, about a girl who moves to New York City and becomes a nanny for a wealthy couple, launched Friday to record highs. The show drew 4.6 million viewers and became not only the most-watched premiere on a Friday since The Suite Life on Deck, but also set records among kids ages 6-11 and 9-14.
Additionally, the series ranked number one in the 9 p.m. time slot in the key kids demographic. The show stars former Suite Life on Deck actress Debbie Ryan in the title role. You can watch Jessie on the Disney Channel Friday nights at 9 p.m.
