Stan the dog has a blog, and now he also has a second season on Disney Channel. The hit series Dog With a Blog returns with all new episodes on Friday, September 20.
That night marks a Disney Channel Friday Night of Premieres programming event hosted by the stars of Dog With a Blog – G Hannelius, Blake Michael, Francesca Capaldi, Beth Littleford, Regan Burns and their canine co-star, Mick.
The second season premiere episode, “Too Short” starts on the first day of school and Avery is feeling insecure when she sees all of her classmates have had growth spurts over the summer. Tyler is still dealing with last year’s bad grades and now he has to reveal the shorter haircut his parents made him get. Meanwhile Chloe pressures Ellen about the contents of her lunch, thinking it will define her social status at school.
This season will feature guest stars including Leigh-Allyn Baker (Good Luck Charlie) and Peyton Meyer (from the upcoming Disney Channel series Girl Meets World), who will star in a recurring role as Wes, a schoolmate who catches Avery’s attention.
Dog With a Blog is #1 in its time period among Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14.
