Disney Channel fans will be excited to hear that the upcoming Original Movie, Lemonade Mouth, has begun production. They’ll also be excited to know about the movie’s cast — some of the most beloved names on the Disney Channel today.
Lemonade Mouth, set to premier in 2011 on the Disney Channel, has a star-studded cast of favorites with Bridgit Mendler of Good Luck Charlie headlining. The movie also includes Adam Hicks of Disney XD’s Zeke and Luther and Hayley Kiyoko of Wizard’s of Waverly Place, along with Naomi Scott from Disney Channel UK, Tisha Campbell-Martin from My Wife and Kids, and Christopher McDonald of Family Law.
The movie will be another musical (following the successful lead of High School Musical and Camp Rock), and will feature original songs by songwriters like Felicia Barton, Ali Dee, Matthew Tishler, and Adam Watts. Lemonade Mouth‘s storyline is based on the novel by Mark Peter Hughes, and follows a high-school garage band.
