Disney Channel is looking for kids in Southern California to compete in the network’s new game show, Disney’s Win, Lose, or Draw. The contestant search begins Saturday, June 15 and is open to kids ages 11-17. Kids who have a flair for comedy, like to draw, and are great at solving clues are encouraged to try out.
Disney’s Win, Lose or Draw is an updated edition of the classic game show and will be powered by the latest technology, motion control, interactive multi-touch screen displays with some comedic physical challenges thrown in to the mix. Each episode will feature two teams made up of two kid contestants and a Disney star. The teams will compete in a battle of drawing skills and creativity. Justin Willman (host of Cupcake Wars) is the show’s host.
Kids trying out for the show will be required to try out in teams of two and are encouraged to partner with a friend, sibling, or cousin. All kids must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Additional information can be found at www.winloseordrawcasting.com.
In other casting news, casting directors for series and movies for Disney Channel and Disney XD have begun a talent search in Southern California in search of new talent ages 10-17. This is part of the networks’ ongoing initiative to find, cast, and develop diverse young actors, dancers, and singers.
“Our open auditions allow us to find a range of dynamic new talent and through these non-traditional searches we are able to reach kids who might not otherwise have the opportunity to be seen by a professional casting director,” said Judy Taylor, senior vice president, Casting and Talent Relations, Disney Channels Worldwide.
This talent search is in advance of the annual open call auditions for Disney Channel and Disney XD that are held in a new city every year. Details for the open call will be announced soon and in the meantime applicants can visit DisneyChannel.com/talentsearch for more information.
