Disney California Adventure has announced a new special event for this summer – the Summer of Heroes.
This limited-time experience coincides with the opening of Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT on May 27. The new attraction takes guests into the world of Guardians of the Galaxy as they help Rocket break his pals out of the Collector’s Fortress.
The Summer of Heroes will also feature a ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off!’ with Star-Lord, Super Hero Encounters with Groot, Captain American, and Spider-Man.
Other events this summer include Avengers Training Institute with Black Widow and Hawkeye and Heroic Encounter: Black Widow. Guests will also find themed merchandise and food in Hollywood Land.
Disneyland Park will be celebrating the reopening of the Disneyland Railroad and Rivers of America and the return of Fantasmic! later this summer.
The Summer of Heroes runs May 27 through September 10.
