Disneyland’s 60th anniversary celebration kicks off next month – May 22 – with an all-night party and the anniversary celebration will be serving up some new food and drink items.
The specialty items were created for the Diamond Anniversary celebration and while the actual 60th anniversary isn’t until July the new items are debuting in May.
First up are some special anniversary cupcakes including a lemon-flavored cupcake at the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café. The lemon is a nod to the Victorian theme of Main Street U.S.A. at Disneyland.
An orange cupcake will be available at Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Café in Disney California Adventure. That flavor is a nod to the 1930s theme of Buena Vista Street.
Five new flavored beverages are also debuting at part of the 60th anniversary including: Enchanted Cherry Apple Frozen Lemonade at the Troubadour Tavern, Honey Bee Frozen Lemonade at the Hungry Bear Restaurant, Frozen Pomegranate Sparkler at the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café, Lucky Fortune Tea Mango and Red Passion Fruit from the Lucky Fortune Café, and Wild Raspberry Rapids Frozen Lemonade at White Water Snacks.
Guests will also have a chance to purchase a special 60th anniversary balloon-shaped popcorn bucket.
Disneyland’s Diamond Anniversary Celebration starts May 22 at the Disneyland Resort.
