Disney has made available a new set of collectible cards featuring vintage Disney artwork. Each card is an oversized 3″ x 4.5″ and branded with a gold-foil Disney Studios stamp, and each pack of eight cards includes a limited-edition, individually numbered mini-lithograph, a sericel-inspired translucent card.
The cards showcase images from classic Disney films such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Bambi, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella.
These sure-to-be-collectible cards are currently available to D23 members only and will be released to the general public on September 1, 2012. And while the general public will be able to purchase cards No. 1 through 96, cards No. 97, 98, and 99 are available only to D23 Members. This exclusive set is limited to 1,000 and will no longer be available after the set is sold out.
The cost of the first pack of eight cards is $1.95 including shipping and processing (plus the D23 Member exclusive set). Subsequent shipments—two packs of eight per shipment—are $7.95 for each pack, plus shipping and processing. See the D23 website for more details.
