Details Announced for the 2013 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Culinary Demos and Beverage Seminars

The time for the 2013 Epcot Food and Wine Festival is quickly approaching and today we have even more news to share with you – we have the details on the culinary demos and beverage seminars.

Thanks to our good friends at the Disney Food Blog we have details on the low-cost demos and seminars where Food and Wine Festival fans can participate in seminars, demonstration, book signings, chef meet and greets, and more!

This year, the seminars and demos are priced between $14 and $15 and will once again feature top chefs and beverage companies.

The culinary demonstrations give fans the chance to watch a chef – sometimes a famous one – create a dish of their own in a show kitchen. Guests at the demonstration get to taste the dish, paired with a wine. These 45-minute sessions happen Monday-Saturday during the festival at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m, and on Sundays at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Cost for the culinary demonstrations is $14/$12.

The mixology seminars happen daily during the festival at 6 p.m. in the Festival Welcome Center, Vineyard Stage. These seminars give guests the chance to learn about the art of drink mixology. Each seminar is sponsored by an alcohol brand, which means the drinks will include that particular brand of alcohol.

Wine and beverage seminars happen daily at 12 p.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. also on the Vineyard Stage. These seminars are also sponsored by a particular beverage company but they focus on raw (non-mixed) drinks. Guests might also get a chance to meet a winery principal or beverage expert.

Tables in Wonderland members, Annual Passholders, DVC Members, and Golden Oak residents can book seminars, demos, and mixology events starting August 9 at 8 a.m. ET. Pre-sale reservations are by phone only at 407-WDW-FEST (939-3378).

Discounted pricing of $2 off per person is available for Tables in Wonderland members, Annual Passholders, DVC members, and Golden Oak residents. This only applies to culinary demonstrations, beverage seminars, and mixology demonstrations taking place Monday-Thursday throughout the festival.
