It’s beginning to look a lot like the holiday shopping season and the Disneyland Resort has a month full of special merchandise events planned for December.
The month of events kicks off with Precious Moments doll designer Linda Rick visiting the World of Disney Store in the Downtown Disney District on December 5-7. Linda will be on hand each day from noon until 10 p.m. to celebrate the release of her holiday collection. She’ll be back for another set of appearances on December 19-21.
On December 6, Walt Disney Imagineering Art Director Bo Bolanos and executive pastry Chefs Jorge Sotelo and Jean Marc Viallet will be signing the new limited edition pins inspired by the gingerbread houses at the Disneyland Resort hotels. Guests can meet the creators from 9-11 a.m. at Acorns Gifts and Goods at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa.
Also on December 6 artists El Gato Gomez, Roberto Jimenez, and Whitney Pollett will be meeting fans at the WonderGround Gallery from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Jim Shore returns to the Disneyland Resort on December 6 and 7 to celebrate the release of his Disney Theme Park exclusive inspired by Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Jim will be at the World of Disney Store in the Downtown Disney District on December 6 from 1-3 p.m., and at the China Closet in Disneyland on December 7 from 9-11 a.m.
There’s a special olive oil tasting planned to celebrate the Temecula Olive Oil Company on December 6 and 7 and December 20-21 at the WonderGround Gallery. It takes place each day from 2-5 p.m.
Dooney & Bourke Creative Director Ian Ray will be at Disney Vault 28 on December 13 to celebrate the launch of two new collections – Disneyana and Body Parts. The event is from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
