Disney has announced the dates for the 2016 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom.
This year the party is scheduled for 29 days beginning September 2 and running on select nights through October 31.
The dates for this year are: September 2, 8, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 29, 30; and October 2, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31.
The party includes trick-or-treating in the Magic Kingdom, Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, and Happy HalloWishes fireworks.
This year there are new costume guidelines in place following Disney’s change in their costume rules last year.
The new guidelines states that costumes may be worn by guests ages 14 and older but guests are “strong discouraged from wearing layered costumes or costume props that surround the entire body.” Costumes cannot contain weapons that resemble or could be mistaken for an actual weapon.
Complete costume guidelines can be found at the Disney World website.
There is no word yet on when tickets will go on sale for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
