Disney fans attending next month’s D23 Expo have one more thing to be excited about – they have a chance to be among the first to see Disney’s Planes on its opening day, August 9.
The movie opens nationwide on the same day, but Expo guests will see a special 3D presentation of the movie that features an introduction by special guests.
Disney’s Planes follows the story of Dusty Crophopper, a plane who dreams of competing as a high-flying racer but he happens to be afraid of heights. He turns to a seasoned aviator who helps him train, and his courage is put to the test as he learns to reach new heights.
The Disneytoon Studios film features the voice talents of Dane Cook, Stacy Keach, Brad Garrett, Teri Hatcher, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Priyanka Chopra, John Cleese, Cedric the Entertainer, Carlos Alazraqui, Roger Craig Smith, Anthony Edwards, Val Kilmer, Sinbad, Gabriel Iglesias, Brent Musburger, Colin Cowherd, Danny Mann, Oliver Kalkofe, and John Ratzenberger.
The screening of Disney’s Planes at the D23 Expo is scheduled for August 9 at 3 p.m. at the Arena inside the Anaheim Convention Center.
