Another name has been added to the cast list for Disney’s science-fiction film Tomorrowland. Actress Britt Roberston has reportedly been cast in a lead role.
Roberston stars on the television series Under the Dome and can soon be seen in the theatrical release Delivery Man opposite Vince Vaughn.
In Tomorrowland, a high school girl with an unconventional understanding of technology is launched on a journey to reclaim her future.
The film also stars George Clooney as an inventor, Hugh Laurie as the villain, and Raffey Cassidy (Snow White and The Huntsman) as a robot who had a relationship with Clooney’s character.
Tomorrowland’s script was penned by LOST’s Damon Lindelof, Brad Bird (The Incredibles), and Jeff Jensen. Bird is also directing the film which is scheduled to be released on December 12, 2014.
