In a nationwide Boys & Girls Club of America and Disney film making contest, The Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley, New Hampshire, was selected to win the ultimate $10,000 prize.
The prize will go towards supporting the arts, and the winning video was one of ten other projects chosen for judging by a panel of judges from Disney, Comcast, and Regal.
Roxanne Spillet, president and CEO of The Boys & Girls Club of America, says:
Disney has provided us with so many opportunities, and we are thankful to have such a special relationship with them that dates back many years. This latest collaboration will help provide club members with new resources to be creative and discover talents through the arts.
For over 50 years, Disney has helped support The Boys & Girls Clubs of America through generous donations, as well as through service-oriented acts by Disney VoluntEARS and other company campaigns. To view the movie made by the Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley, please visit svbgc.org.
