A new entertainment option will be coming to Disneyland park next month called Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree.
This new weekend experience will arrive at Frontierland and encompass the former Festival Arena site on Fridays, Saturday and Sundays. Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree promises to be a fun-filled experience for the whole family with music and dancing, crafts, pin trading, and photo opportunities with Disney characters decked out in the finest Western wear.
Regular character appearances from Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Chip ‘n Dale can be expected, but you may also catch a glimpse of Horace Horsecollar, Clarabelle Cow, Clara Cluck or the Country Bears now and then.
When Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree isn’t having a good old-fashioned hoedown, the area will host a variety of performing ensembles as part of the Disney Performing Arts program. Disney Performing Arts will allow ensemble groups from middle and high schools, as well as community groups, to perform at Disneyland. These groups will also be able to participate in workshops with entertainment pros in order to enhance their skills on stage.
Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree begins May 3, so mark your calendars if you plan to be one of the first to experience the new entertainment venue.
