Move over, Hannah Montana: make way for Rapunzel!
Recently, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique location in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World began offering pint-sized princesses the opportunity to transform into Rapunzel, star of the latest Disney animated feature, “Tangled.” The makeover, which includes the requisite long, flowing, golden wig, also incorporates sparkly makeup, a face gem, and a princess bag and sash. The cost of the star treatment? $52.14. The package is available for a limited time only, through December 31.
At the same time, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will signal the curtain on the “Hannah Montana” look. As the popular tween show wraps its final season, The Secret Star Makeover, which the show inspired, will also bow out. Little girls who would like to channel their favorite rock star have until May 1, 2011 to do so. The Secret Star Makeover includes wig, microphone headset, Hannah Montana guitar purse and t-shirt, plus shimmery make up and a photo shoot. The cost for the package is $109.95, plus tax. A Hannah Montana costume can be added for an additional fee.
