Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a hotbed of construction projects right now with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land both in the works.
But last week, a new pub opened in the former location of The Writer’s Stop in the new Grand Avenue area (built in what used to be part of the Streets of America).
Grand Avenue is meant to capture the spirit of modern-day Downtown Los Angeles and is home to vintage buildings and warehouses.
Baseline Tap House “pays homage to the Figueroa Printing Company, a mom-and-pop print house that had ties to the Disney Studios in nearby Burbank.”
The pub’s menu features California beers and wines (on tap!) plus ciders and specialty cocktails. There’s also a menu featuring small plates including a Bavarian pretzel and a charcuterie board.
