IGN.com is reporting that Tetsuya Nomura, creator of the video game series “Kingdom Hearts” has confirmed the development of 3 new games in the series, including the much anticipated “Kingdom Hearts 3”. There is however no set timetable on KH3, as Nomura is also on the creative development team for a new Final Fantasy title that is due out this year.
The other titles in the series that Nomura discussed include “Birth By Sleep” and another un-named title that are due out this year in the US as well as another title in 2011.
For those unfamiliar with the series, Kingdom Hearts is a collaboration between Disney and game developer Square-Enix, which is responsible for the Final Fantasy Series. There are currently 4 Kingdom Hearts titles available in the US.
