On New Year’s Day, the Wisconsin Badgers and Stanford Cardinal football teams will go head-to-head in the annual Rose Bowl game. However, before the teams face off on the field, they recently had the chance to celebrate their special achievement with a visit to Disneyland.
Since 1959, Disneyland has welcomed both Rose Bowl teams to the park for a special ceremony in their honor. This year, players from the two teams and their coaches were joined in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle by Mickey Mouse, Disneyland Vice President Jon Storbeck, and the Disneyland Band to celebrate their upcoming game.
Following the ceremony, the two teams got the chance to have some fun in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, as players spent some time Cars Land and took a ride on Disneyland’s iconic Matterhorn Bobsleds. Check out some photos of their visit below:
