Orlando area residents and guests visiting Walt Disney World during the 2010 World Cup will have the opportunity to attend official viewing parties at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill. Scheduled to be televised on ABC, ESPN and ESPN2 from South Africa, Disney will broadcast the game on the Grill’s multiple large-screen high-definition televisions.
In addition, the ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill will offer special viewing parties running for the Round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals and third-place match (June 26-July 10), which will include guaranteed seating to view the matches and an all-you-care-to-eat buffet featuring Buffalo wings, hot dogs, seasonal fruit, build-your-own salads, a nacho bar, desserts and non-alcoholic drinks – all for $19.99/per person, per game (plus tax).
The World Cup opener kicks off on June 11th, 2010 when Disney will offer open seating for breakfast and lunch and will continue for the group stage of play lasting through June 25th. A special viewing area will be available for the championship match July 11.
