Just in case you didn’t know, Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival kicked off this week. This year, everyone’s other favorite Epcot festival promises to be even more special, as HGTV has taken a sponsorship role.
This weekend, March 4-6, Genevieve Gorder will be on hand during Epcot’s special HGTV Designer Presentation series. Gorder, star of “Dear Genevieve,” is also a judge on the reality series “HGTV Design Star.” She will present “The Art of Sculpting Space” each day, March 4-6, at noon, and again at 3 p.m.
But that’s not where the fun ends. Other HGTV stars are scheduled to appear throughout the festival, and include Vern Yip (“HGTV Design Star”), John Gidding (“Curb Appeal: The Block”), and Ahmed Hassan (“Yard Crashers.”)
And Disney horticulturists and gardeners continue to delight guests with beautiful displays of flowers and other plants. Also, brand new topiaries celebrating some of Disney Pixar’s most beloved stars make their debut at this year’s event.
HGTV Designer Presentation sessions will take place in the Festival Center, adjacent to Mission Space in Future World, on the HGTV Designers Stage. The 18th Annual Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival takes place now through May 15. Admission to all HGTV Designer Presentation sessions is included with admission to the park.
