We’re still a few months away from the start of the 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival, but Disney has announced some exciting news – this year’s Festival will feature 35 Marketplace Booths.
This is a record number of booths and the number is a nod to the 35th anniversary of Epcot this fall!
The 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival kicks off August 31 and runs for 75 days until November 13 (another record for the Festival).
This year the Festival is welcoming Spain and India back to the mix. India was last represented in 2009 and Spain was in the Festival back in 2010. The marketplace booths will once again extend into Future World.
For information on what booths are possibly returning this year be sure to check out the Disney Food Blog’s 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Booths and Menu page.
The Eat to the Beat concert series is returning again this year with 225 concerts over the course of the Festival.
The Festival will also feature the “Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It!” workshops, culinary demos with celebrity chefs, the popular Party for the Senses, and more.
This year’s festival will also focus on the family with dishes geared toward children’s palates and culinary demos for the whole family to enjoy.
Other fun events include Ratatouille’s Hide and Squeak scavenger hunt, the Back to Basics weekend series, beverage seminars, cheese seminars, and The Chocolate Experience: From Bean to the Bar.
