The premiere of the Disney Channel Original Movie Descendants 2 will be shown simultaneously on five networks within the Disney/ABC Television Group on July 21.
The movie will premiere on Disney Channel, ABC, Disney XD, Freeform, and Lifetime.
The film is the sequel to 2015’s Disney Channel Original Movie Descendants, which was the fifth most watched movie in cable television history.
The stars of the film – Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Sofia Carson, and Booboo Stewart, are making an appearance at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards on April 30. They’ll be showing fans a world premiere of the ‘Ways to Be Wicked’ music video and never-before-seen footage from the film.
A Descendants 2 sweepstakes was recently launched by Best Western Hotels & Resorts. The Descendants 2 and You sweepstakes gives fans a chance to undergo a Descendants makeover and meet Sofia Carson and Cameron Boyce.
In this sequel the Villain Kids continue to try to find their place in Auradon but Mal returns to the Isle of the Lost where Uma (Ursula’s daughter) has taken her spot as the queen of the town. Uma wants the other kids to help her unleashe all the villains who are imprisoned on the Isle.
Watch Descendants 2 on July 21 on any of the five networks.
