Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa in Disneyland is in the middle of a renovation, which is slated as the most extensive refurb since it opened.
The Arts & Crafts-style hotel will feature a modern look and the refresh will include a reimagining of all guests rooms, pool areas, and the concierge-level Craftsman Club. The lobby furniture will also be updated.
The Grand Californian was recently named a AAA Four Diamond Hotel by the Automobile Club of Southern California. This was the sixteenth year in a row that the hotel earned this distinction.
The hotel opened in 2001.
The guest rooms will all be redesigned to create a “fresh sense of luxury.” New floors, new walls, new furniture, and new bedding and linens are all part of the update. The new headboard walls will feature wood inlay designs of orange trees and Chip ‘n Dale.
The multi-phase rollout of the updated rooms is expected to be done by the end of this year. Guests will be able to enjoy the first phase very soon.
