This year has been a good year for the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts – in all they’ve received more than 150 awards from the travel industry.
Disney received a total of 15 awards in the Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards including awards for the Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland, Disney Vacation Club, Disney Cruise Line, Aulain, and more.
The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) and the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) recognized Walt Disney Parks and Resorts this year for experiences at Shanghai Disneyland and Disneyland Paris.
Shanghai Disneyland’s ‘Ignite the Dream – A Nighttime Spectacular of Magic and Light’ and Disneyland Paris’s ‘Mickey and the Magician’ were both awarded the 2016 IAAPA Brass Ring Award. And Shanghai Disney Resort received three Thea Awards for outstanding achievement from TEA.
Walt Disney Parks and Resorts was given more than 40 award from TripAdvisor travelers this year, and Victoria & Albert’s received a AAA five-diamond designation.
Other awards and recognition came from U.S. News & World Report, Forbes, Travel + Leisure, Cruise Critic, and more.
