As we head into November and the holiday season there is some exciting food-related news from the Walt Disney World Resort.
The Garden View Tea Room at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is transforming each evening into the Garden View Champagne and Wine Lounge. Guests can enjoy champagne, wines, and small plates each night from 7-10 p.m.
Club Villain at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is sticking around through at least January. Guests can make reservations for the popular event on Fridays and Saturdays in November and December, and Friday nights in January.
LeCellier Steakhouse in Epcot’s Canada pavilion will be serving a prix fixe lunch menu starting November 6 from 11:15 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The lunch will feature three courses including appetizer, entrée, and dessert.
Over at the Jungle Skipper Canteen in the Magic Kingdom guests will soon be able to purchase a souvenir mug with the Punch Line Punch or the Schweitzer Slush. Also at the Magic Kingdom, Liberty Tree Tavern has added the Patriot’s Platter to the lunch menu.
This all-you-can-eat platter includes shaved prime rib, roasted turkey, carved pork, mashed potatoes, vegetables, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, and a new dessert.
And finally, Mickey Mouse is celebrating his birthday on November 18 and the BoardWalk Bakery has created a new dessert inspired by Steamboat Willie. The Heritage Mickey Dessert is a duo of dark and white chocolate mousse topped with Mickey’s ears and tail.
