The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney California Adventure is set to close on January 2, 2017 so it can be re-themed into a Guardians of the Galaxy attraction.
The celebration of the attraction kicks off during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort and includes a ‘Late Check-Out Experience’ starting September 9.
This new nighttime adventure includes the chance to experience the Tower of Terror in complete darkness for the first time ever.
Guests will also find commemorative merchandise and special food and beverage items during the celebration of the Tower of Terror. There will also be a fun photo location in front of the Hollywood Tower Hotel featuring vintage luggage and more.
During Halloween Time the Hollywood Tower Hotel will also host daytime performances by Buena Vista Street’s Silver Lake Sisters.
The new attraction – Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout is set to open in 2017.
