Disney’s Animal Kingdom is THE place to be right now thanks to new nighttime experiences and the new Tiffins signature dining restaurant and the Nomad Lounge.
“Tiffin” is the Indian word for a lunchbox used by travlers and Tiffins the signature dining restaurant is open every day for lunch and dinner.
The restaurant is located in the Discovery Island area of the park. The restaurant’s menu features dishes inspired by Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
Guests can expect an “immersive dining experience” when visiting Tiffins. The restaurant celebrates world travel and the dining rooms are called “galleries.” One focuses on Asia (the Trek Gallery), one on Africa (the Safari Gallery), and the Grand Gallery “pays homage” to animals protected by the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund.
The menu includes Berber-Spiced Lamb Chop with Mustard Greens, Berkshire Pork Tenderloin with Huitlacoche Tamale, Miso-glazed Black Cod with Forbidden Rice in Steamed Bok Cho with Turmeric Sauce, Roasted Market Vegetable Curry, and more. There is also a kids’ menu that features chicken, fish, or roasted vegetables.
The Nomad Lounge is located adjacent to Tiffins and features 55 seats inside and 46 seats on a covered outdoor area. Guests can enjoy drinks and small bites including seared Waygu beef skewers, honey-glazed coriander spiced ribs, and more.
Reservations are accepted for Tiffins and can be made online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.
