The Disney Cruise Line fleet is growing.
Disney announced today that two new ships will be added to the DCL fleet in 2021 and 2023. A memorandum of agreement has been made with Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany.
Design plans and ship names and sailing itineraries are still in development but Disney Imagineering is already working on idea for the new ships.
The new ship will be about 135,000 gross tons each – making them a bit bigger than the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy. Each ship will have close to 1,250 staterooms.
The Disney Dream launched in 2011 and the Disney Fantasy launched in 2012.
