Two more authors are scheduled for the special author’s series celebrating Black History Month at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Grammy Award winner Patti LaBelle will be at the American Adventure Pavilion on February 20 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. for a book signing and fan meet-and-greet.
Patti also stars in a television cooking show Patti LaBelle’s Place and has authored cookbooks filled with Southern recipes.
On February 27 guests can meet Terrence Roberts, PhD., one of the “Little Rock Nine” – the African American students who were the first black students to attend class at Little Rock Central High School in 1957.
Dr. Roberts authored Lessons from Little Rock, detailing his experience as part of the Little Rock Nine. His book signing is from 1-2 p.m. and again at 3-4 p.m. in the American Adventure Pavilion.
