D23 Gold members and their families have a chance to explore Chicago, Illinois and visit sites of importance to the early life of Walt Disney.
The exclusive D23 Gold member experience is March 4, 2016 and begins following The Walt Disney Company 2016 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
Members and their families will meet at the Chicago History Museum for a light breakfast and a presentation from Walt Disney Archives Director Becky Cline and members of The Walt Disney Birthplace restoration project.
The experience includes a visit to The Walt Disney Birthplace where members will be the first group to tour the home where Roy and Walt Disney were born. The house is going through a major renovation project. The tour will also pass by locations that are tied to Walt’s childhood in Chicago.
The tour concludes with lunch at the Chicago History Museum.
D23 Gold members can reserve a spot for themselves and one guest. The price is $185 per person plus a $5 processing fee. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the restoration of The Walt Disney Birthplace. Tickets go on sale February 11 at 10 a.m. PT. Visit this page for a ticketing link.
