Happy New Year! As great as 2015 was when it came to all things Disney, we’re certain this year is going to be even more amazing. We have some great news to recap so let’s jump right in!
Star Wars: The Force Awakens continues to dominate at the box office – both domestic and global. The film earned $1 billion in a record 12 days, breaking the previous record held by Jurassic World which earned $1 billion in 17 days last summer.
Disney’s Zootopia is coming to theaters in March but guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney California Adventure can catch a special sneak preview of the film starting January 21.
Next weekend is the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend and Disney has released a preview of the merchandise available at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo.
Speaking of merchandise, both Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort have special merchandise events planned all month long.
January 4 is the kick of for the next Minnie’s Seasonal Dine at Hollywood & Vine in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This seasonal dine is Minnie’s Silver Screen Dine and it celebrates all things Hollywood and movies!
