It’s been a week filled with news at the Disney Parks, including the start of the 20th Epcot International Food and Wine Festival! We have a lot of news to report, so let’s jump in!
If you haven’t had a chance to visit Disneyland Resort this year to celebrate the Diamond Anniversary, don’t worry. The celebration has been extended until September 5, 2016.
Everyone is excited about the Star Wars-themed lands coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland! And Disney just announced that Season of the Force is coming to Disneyland starting November 16.
Season of the Force will feature several experience for guests including special character experiences on the Dark Side or the Light Side, the Dark Side Gallery and the Light Side Gallery with Stormtrooper armor and Jedi lightsabers, and a chance to play Disney Infinity 3.0.
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar officially opened on September 22 at Downtown Disney! The new bar is serving up tapas style dishes and 16 specialty drinks in addition to beers and wines.
Speaking of Downtown Disney, the shopping and entertainment district will officially be renamed Disney Springs on September 29! The renaming comes just one day before the grand opening of Morimoto Asia.
