It was recently announced that two teams from the Puerto Rican Roberto Clemente Professional Baseball League will play three regular season games at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex this November.
The Cangrejeros de Santurce will play the Indios de Mayaguez in a three-game series on November 20-22.
This will be the first time Clemente League teams will play official season games in the continental United States.
The last time the teams played outside of Puerto Rice was in 2009 when they played the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League in the Inter League Series.
The Cangrejeros de Santurce is the League’s defending champion and will be considered the home team in the three-game series. The games will count toward the team standings at the end of the season.
