The Disney Parks Blog just announced a special event taking place this November that is sure to delight Disney shopping fans. The Benefit Sale, which will be held November 6 from 5:30-9:30 AM at Walt Disney World’s Downtown Disney, is a one day shopping event that will offer huge discounts on select Disney merchandise to shoppers at some of their favorite Downtown Disney stores. But these great discounts aren’t the only reason to look forward to this event, as it will also benefit and help support the Heart of Florida United Way.
To participate in this one-day shopping extravaganza, guests only need to purchase a $5 Benefit Sale Voucher. These Vouchers can be purchased directly from the Heart of Florida United Way or any of the participating United Way’s local partner agencies. This voucher will then be exchanged for a The Benefit Sale Wristband, which you’ll need to present on the day of the event while entering stores and purchasing merchandise.
Once they’ve purchased the Voucher and received their wristband, shoppers will have access to the early morning event, which will feature 50-75% off of selected merchandise, doorbuster sales, surprise markdowns, and more great ways to save on your favorite Disney items. Participating stores will include World of Disney, Once Upon a Toy, Disney Days of Christmas, and D-Street. While the full details of the sales aren’t announced yet, you can expect big sales on Toys, Plushes and Disney Apparel, and special offers from cosmetic and fragrance brands featured in Epcot’s World Showcase such as Dior, Pucci, and Givenchy.
