Marvel is expanding its brand and branching out into sporting goods and accessories.
This new venture comes after the brand was featured in a custom edition insert ‘The Body Issue: Super Heroes Edition’ that was included in the most recent issue of ESPN The Magazine. Marvel also had a presence at the X Games 2015 where Next X Park was renamed Marvel Next X Park.
Marvel is working with Santa Cruz Skateboards, ,Madd Gear Scooters, and SMS Headphones to introduce new retail items this year.
Santa Cruz Skateboards introduced a full line of Marvel-branded T-shirts, decks, cruzers, and more. The line will include Spider-Man, Venom, Thor, and Wolverine and can be found in stores now.
Madd Gear Scooters introduced its Pro Scooter Collaboration with Marvel at the X Games 2015 and the line arrives in stores this September. The scooters will feature Captain America, Spider-Man, and Hulk.
And finally, SMS Audio has released three designs for the new line of Marvel-inspired headphones featuring Iron Man, Black Widow, and Captain America. The headphones will be available this fall.
