This November, Tangled: The Musical will debut on Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Magic, marking the first time the Disney film has been adapted for the stage.
This new stage production will feature three news songs created just for the show by Academy Award-winning composer Alan Menken and Grammy Award winner Glenn Slater. The show will also include fan favorite songs ‘When Will My Life Begin,’ ‘Mother Knows Best,’ ‘I Have a Dream,’ and ‘I See the Light.’
The show will follow the storyline from the film and includes Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Mother Gothel, and Maximus the horse.
Tangled: The Musical will use elaborate costumes, puppetry, and all-new set design to transform the Walt Disney Theater into Rapunzel’s kingdom. Maximus the horse is being created by master puppet designer Michael Curry.
This all-new musical debuts November 11 during the four-night Bahamian sailing on the Disney Magic.
