To kick off the 2015 Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney Parks Merchandise is hosting a Galactic Gathering on May 14.
This event is similar to the 2014 Rebel Rendezvous.
The package for the Galactic Gathering includes: a Rebel or Empire MagicBand, commemorative trading pin, Darth’s Mall Light Speed Pass good for all five weekends, and a Han Solo-inspired popcorn bucket.
The package also includes the opportunity to pre-purchase select Star Wars Weekends merchandise including Aurebesh nametags, D-Tech phone cases, Dooney & Bourke purses, retail MagicBands, Vinylamtion, and more. In addition guests will also have a chance to purchase the new Star Wars-themed Disney Gift Cards.
Guests attending the Galactic Gathering will also have a chance to meet Disney characters, Disney Design Group artists, and Ashley Eckstein from Her Universe.
Tickets to the Galactic Gathering are $250 per person and that doesn’t include theme park admission. However, theme park admission is required to participate in the event.
