The price of a one-day ticket to the Magic Kingdom is now over the $100 mark for the first time ever.
Disney announced an increase in theme park ticket prices on February 21 and it was official on February 22. A one-day ticket to the Magic Kingdom is now $105 plus tax.
A one-day ticket to the other three Disney World theme parks increased to $97 plus tax (up from the previous price of $94 plus tax).
Disney spokesperson Bryan Malenius said in a statement released by Disney that “A day at a Disney park is unlike any other in the world, and there is strong demand for our attractions and entertainment. We continually add new experiences, and many of our guests select multi-day tickets or annual passes which provide great value and additional savings.”
Other price increases include Florida Resident Annual Passes – now $529 and $329 plus tax – and Annual Passes increased to $654.
The ticket price increase is a 6 percent increase for the Magic Kingdom tickets. Ten year ago, in 2005, a one-day ticket to the Magic Kingdom was $59.75.
