Disney Junior’s newest animated series, Miles From Tomorrowland, recently debuted as one of the top cable television series for kids ages 2-8, and Disney Consumer Products is unveiling a new toy line inspired by the show.
The new toy line was unveiled ahead of the New York Toy Fair.
“Since the debut of Disney Junior, we’ve continued to build a portfolio of unique and inspiring products that delight parents and their preschoolers,” said Josh Silverman, executive vice president of global licensing, Disney Consumer Products. “Space exploration is incredibly rich territory for innovation, and we’re excited to launch a product collection that will capture kids’ imaginations and help bring STEAM themes to life at home.”
Miles from Tomorrowland tells the story of Miles Callisto and his family as they connect the galaxy on behalf of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. The new toy line from TOMY launches this summer and features figures, playsets, vehicles, and more.
The toys also include science facts for kids ages 2-7 from NASA and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
A line of toys inspired by Miles from Tomorrowland is available now from Disneystore.com and at Disney Store locations nationwide. This line includes books, role play, apparel, home décor, toys, and more.
Disney Publishing Worldwide has also launched a new app “Miles from Tomorrowland: Missions” and will be debuting books based on the show later this year.
